Bruins Take Pens 4-1 Force Game Seven

The WBS Penguins come into tonight’s game looking to slam the door on the Bruins. If the Penguins win tonight along to the next round the Bruins win it is on to game seven.

The WBS Penguins came out hard looking to start off on a good note spent much of the period in the Bruins end had some great chances but Svedberg held his line.

WBS had the first power play of the game had troubles getting set up needless to say the power play didn’t amount to much. At the end of the first period the Pens lead in SOG’s 14-5 but the score remained 0-0.

WBS would score in the second only to have it waived off because the ref ruled goaltender interference. Providence would come right back with a fast break and score making it one nothing Bruins.

Jayson Megna would turn it over at the Penguins bench the Bruins would capitalize on the turnover and get their second tally of the game. At the end of two it was the WBS Penguins trailing the Providence Bruins 2-0.

The Bruins would score making it three nothing just 1:35 into the third during the carry over power play really putting the Pens in a hole. WBS would score late in the third with an empty net Conor Sheary sinks yet another goal in the series making it a 3-1 game.

The Bruins would come back and score an empty netter as the WBS Penguins pulled Peter Mannino once again looking to get some points on the board making it a 4-1 game virtually locking the game up forcing the WBS Penguins into a game seven Wednesday night.
