Game two of round two started out better than game one did, the WBS Penguins seemed to have a little pep in their step. Giving up a few power plays to the Bruins during the first period but still looked better.
WBS had a few nice chances but Svedberg kept them out. Bobby Farnham was handing out some good hits along with Zach Sill all in all not a bad period. On the down side WBS went 0/1 on the power play they seemed to have trouble setting things up in the Bruins end. At the end of the first period things were all even at 0 much better than yesterday.
The second period starts out good for WBS Bobby Farnham draws a tripping penalty giving WBS the chance on the power play but WBS can’t convert. Conor Sheary put the Pens on the board making it a 1-0 game. Uher gets called for what the ref called goaltender interference and Providence converts making it one all.
Aton Zlobin makes it 2-1 Pens with a blast past Svedberg from the top of the face off circle, Zlobin would score just a little while later as WBS is on the power play making it 3-1 WBS and pitting Zlobin on HTA. Chuck Kobasew would tip in a shot past Svedberg making it 4-1 WBS just before the intermission.
Thanks to the WBS Penguins for playing our song at intermission

Third period action, well leets just say there was a lot of it, 13 WBS Penalties and 10 Providence Penalties totaling 118 minutes of penalties if you add them all up. Needless to say the Penguins held on the PK keeping the Bruins score limit to just one. Peter Mannino had some great saves to help keep the Bruins where they were as well.
WBS would score two more goals in the third Tom Kostopoulos would tally the Penguins fifth goal of the night on the power play, one of three conversions on the night for the Pens, sparking the removal of Svedberg and the replacement by Subban. But the replacemant would soon learn that it was the Penguins night as Brian Dumoulin would skate in all alone and beat Subban clean making it a 6-1 game, just locking the door behind them.
That would be your game fans the WBS Penguins taking it to the Providence Bruins tonight just the opposite of last night really turning the tables and setting the tome for Wednesdays game up in Providence.
