The Amerks first goal came just 1:21 in as Luke Adam put on past Eric Hartzell Rochester’s second came as Joel Armia put some great moves on WBS Penguins D-Man passes to Frederick Roy who goes five hole on Hartzell.

The Amerks second rally spurred a goalie change enter stage left Jeff Deslauriers. Leaving the ice between the first and second WBS was trailing the Rochester Americans 2-0 but had 40 more minutes of hockey left in regulation.

Rochester managed to score another goal during the second frame Johan Larsson would regroup a fat Albert rebound from Jeff Deslauriers and poles it home making it three nothing Amerks with less than two minutes left in the second. Bobby Farnham and Roy did a little dancing have to score that one even, LeBlond was offering a few Brayden McNabb would do his best to stay away from him though.

All in all not a good second frame for the Penguins who now trailed by three goals with only twenty more minutes left to play things were not looking good at this point.

About B.Pettit

Lead Journalist - Owner - Editor I developed PensFans4Ever back when the Penguins first came to Wilkes-Barre. It was started to keep the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Fans along with the Pittsburgh Penguin Fans up to date with happenings as far as who is up and who is down. We Started out as just a message board where we would post news and information and other fans would post their feelings and any information they had. We then turned into a dot com and started making a true web site, at first it was just news, we incorporated a message board into the site. By the third year we added a chat feature. This enables the fans to gather in a live chat room during games that they can’t be at. We try to make it as informative as possible. Since everything that has happened to us we have turned our site into a blog but keeping with what we started out to do not just giving you our thoughts and interpretations we incorporate official team news and press releases.
