Nailers Announce Two New Promotions

The wheeling nailers have come up with a great way to help those less fortunate during this cold winter. It is along the lines of the teddy near toss that most hockey fans are accustomed to but it involves gloves. Instead of toss stuffed animals fans are encouraged to bring a new pair of gloves with them, then when the Nailers score their first goal of the game on January 29th against the Fort Wayne Komets, fans will be encouraged to throw a new pair of gloves onto the ice. Those gloves will then be donated to local charities, so that all of the great people in the Ohio Valley can have proper hand protection, when the temperature drops.

For WesBanco Winning Wednesday, if the Nailers win, you win. Wheeling will be looking for its third win of the season series against Fort Wayne, and if the home team skates away with a victory, you will skate away with tickets to the Sunday, March 2nd game against the Cincinnati Cyclones at 3:00.

This will be the second of four straight games at WesBanco Arena for the Nailers, who will begin their homestand on Sunday at 3:00 against Cincinnati.

About B.Pettit

Lead Journalist - Owner - Editor I developed PensFans4Ever back when the Penguins first came to Wilkes-Barre. It was started to keep the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Fans along with the Pittsburgh Penguin Fans up to date with happenings as far as who is up and who is down. We Started out as just a message board where we would post news and information and other fans would post their feelings and any information they had. We then turned into a dot com and started making a true web site, at first it was just news, we incorporated a message board into the site. By the third year we added a chat feature. This enables the fans to gather in a live chat room during games that they can’t be at. We try to make it as informative as possible. Since everything that has happened to us we have turned our site into a blog but keeping with what we started out to do not just giving you our thoughts and interpretations we incorporate official team news and press releases.
