Pens Trade Grant For Zolnierczyk

Today the Penguins made a trade that seemed to make sense for them bit it remains to be seen since they aren’t on the ice now, they sent defenseman Alex Grant to the Anaheim Ducks and took winger Harry Zolnierczyk.

Zolnierczyk has had a good career playing in the both the AHL and the NHL putting stints in with the Flyers the Phantoms and lately the Admirals (Norfolk) that is. You can get all his stats here on Hockey DB

Zolnierczyk has some speed and and isn’t afraid to do what it takes, if he makes the Pittsburgh line up is yet to be seen. If not you may be hearing more of this name here in WBS.

About B.Pettit

Lead Journalist - Owner - Editor I developed PensFans4Ever back when the Penguins first came to Wilkes-Barre. It was started to keep the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Fans along with the Pittsburgh Penguin Fans up to date with happenings as far as who is up and who is down. We Started out as just a message board where we would post news and information and other fans would post their feelings and any information they had. We then turned into a dot com and started making a true web site, at first it was just news, we incorporated a message board into the site. By the third year we added a chat feature. This enables the fans to gather in a live chat room during games that they can’t be at. We try to make it as informative as possible. Since everything that has happened to us we have turned our site into a blog but keeping with what we started out to do not just giving you our thoughts and interpretations we incorporate official team news and press releases.
