Less than 600 tickets remain for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, presented by Tobyhanna Federal Credit Union, taking place on Saturday, Mar. 23 at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza as the team faces off against the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05PM.

For the 14th straight season, the Penguins will don special St.20130318-204238.jpgPatrick’s Day-themed shamrock jerseys for the night, which will be auctioned off during the game to benefit the Penguins United Way Charity Fund.

The team will also have special Pot ‘O Gold Pucks for sale, featuring a St. Patrick’s Day design on the front and an autograph from a Penguins player on the back. Eight hundred pucks have been signed and will be sold for $10 apiece. Fans that get a puck with a special St. Patrick’s Day decal will also receive a player-signed stick.

In the spirit of the evening, the Wyoming Valley Pipe and Drum band and the Gallagher School of Irish Dancing will also provide entertainment during the game.

The first 5,000 fans at the game will also receive a Penguins Clothes Hamper, courtesy of the Scranton Times, Citizens Voice and Times Tribune.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins finish a seven-game road stretch on Wednesday, March 20 at 7:00PM versus the Syracuse Crunch.
