Farnham and Gibbons get the best chance so far but no joy , Bobby Farnham got clipped with a high stick but no call. Syracuse gets the second power play of the game as Cody Wild sat for tripping, but the Penguins top rated penalty kill keeps the Crunch out.

The second period would draw to an end still looking at two goose eggs on the scoreboard a couple of good chances this period as well but Riku Helenius did a good job at keeping the Pens out.

Third period is where it all happened Syracuse scores two goals 1:23 apart to jump to a 2-0 lead it would be Wilson then Connolly scoring for Syracuse.

Later in the period the Crunch would get their third and Wilson would get his second of the game going on HTA.

That would be that fans the WBS Penguins get shutout by the Crunch 3-0, this is the third loss in three home games and the second shutout out of the three losses.

If you are keeping score the Pens have only scored once in the last three games or one goal in the last 6 periods since it was a third period goal that was scored.
