WBS Falls To Senators

Tonight the Binghamton Senators came to town to take on the WBS Penguins for a different Tueaday night game in Willes-Barre.

Binghamton got on the boards first scoring twice in the first once just after the five minute major that Payerl was assessed for charging or so they called it Lawson, and again five minutes later.

Fights well there were a few dances but nothing classified as a fight. Uher and Schneider were handed double minor for roughing. At the end of the first Tom Kostopoulos was handed a five minute major and a game misconduct for spearing. I saw a little skirmish but must have missed the spear.

Second period saw more penalties Binghamton had almost a handful sent their way WBS had three sent to them. The Senators scored three goals one of which was a power play goal making it 5-0 Binghamton at the end of two.

The third saw more of the penalties David Banfield having the game of his life, good thing there was security there to help him to his car because the crowd was not happy. WBS would score to ruin the shutout Uher got the lone WBS Penguins goal but that would be it.

All in all not a good game for WBS and let’s leave it at that.
