Keven Veilleux, thats right I said Veilleux first game back first fight not a bad job. Pens go on the power play as Springfield sits for a hook. Pens have some trouble getting it going for this power play. Nice salute for Keven Veilleux out of the box.
Second period Bortuzzo called for interference Pens on pk early and kill it. Thompson on a breakaway but no goal.
Bennett would get the WBS Penguins on the board with a nice shot on net fueled by a nice cross ice feed from Holzapfel .
Bennett would get goal number two as the puck bounced off Springfield’s McElhinney right to Bennett and he would put it in, that’s 2 for 2 for Bennett putting him on HTA.
The third period saw more of the same action between the two clubs both getting some great chances.
Zatkoff doing an unbelievable job keeping the net empty , it wouldn’t be until late in the third that the falcons would score making it 2-1 pens. WBS Penguins would hold the Falcons to just one goal getting the win.
